Terms and Conditions
The rental contract is between the Guest and the Owner / Manager of the property to which the accommodation booking is made and is subject to the terms and conditions herein. The contract for accommodations shall not be affected until the Owner / Manager sends the Guest confirmation of the booking.
Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer and International Bank Cheque.
Deposit For bookings made more than 21 days in advance the Owner/Manager will not confirm the accommodation booking until the Guest's deposit of 50% is received and cleared. This must take place within 5 working days after making the reservation. If the accommodation booking is made within three (3) weeks of the date of commencement of the Guest's proposed holiday, the full rental payable for the Property is required. A damages and breakages deposit of R1000.00 will be collected upon Check-in and held during the stay. This will be refunded on departure upon visual confirmation by the Owner/Manager that the property and it's contents have been left in a satisfactory condition.
Final Payment The full amount payable in respect of the property rental shall be paid at least three (3) weeks prior to the date of commencement of the booking. If the full payment has not been received by the Owner / Manager at least twenty one (21) days prior to the start of the rental period, then the Owner / Manager reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice and the Guest will forfeit the deposit. If the booking is for the Christmas Holiday period (15 December - 15 January) then the tenant shall pay 100% of payment by 15 November.
Cancellation If at any stage the Guest wishes to cancel the booking a full refund less 20% will be granted if the Property is re-let. If the Property is not re-let no refund will be applicable upon cancellation.
Check-In/Check-Out Check-in
time is 2pm.
Guests Property All personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of the Guest of any description shall be the risk of the Guest at all times and neither the Owner nor Manager accepts any responsibility for any loss or damage thereto.
Right To Refuse Or Revoke Bookings The Owner / Manager reserves the right to revoke or refuse to honour any accommodation booking which may in their opinion (and at their sole discretion) be unsuitable for the Property.
Representations The Guest acknowledges that the Owner / Manager has used their best endeavours to describe the Property to the Guest within the limited extent of their communications. The Owner / Manager shall not be liable to the Guest in any respect should the Guest consider the Property to be unsuitable for any reason whatsoever.
Description Of The Property All information in respect of the Property contained in advertising is believed to be correct at the time of printing, however all details contained on the web page are subject to change by the Owner / Manager without notice. The Owner / Manager will not accept any responsibility for any alterations to the Property or any part thereof beyond their reasonable control, including damage caused by extreme weather conditions, breakdown of appliances, wiring, plumbing, invasions of pests, or any act or omission on the part of the Owner causing loss, accident or injury to the Guest or any one or more of them.
Guest's Obligations In Respect Of The Property The Guests shall be responsible for the Property during their stay. The Guest shall take all reasonable care of the Property and at the end of the stay shall leave the Property, including all utensils, fixtures, fittings and equipment on, in or about the Property in a clean and tidy condition. The Guest shall be liable for any breakage's or damage caused to the Property or any part thereof, or any of the contents therein that may occur during the Guest's occupation of the Property and all costs of repairs and replacement thereof shall be payable to the Owner / Manager upon demand. Any damage or breakage shall be reported to the Owner / Manager as soon as possible after occurring. Occupancy and the use of the premises and communal areas shall not be such as to disturb neighbours or area residents. The Owner / Manager holds the perogative to cancel the contract and ask Guests to vacate the premises. No disruptive parties or overcrowding is allowed. Sorry no pets.
Availability Of The Property The short-term accommodation contract negotiated by the Owner / Manager and made between the Guest and the Owner /Manager is made on the understanding that the Property and its facilities, as stated in the booking confirmation, will be available as represented to the Guest. Should any events whatsoever arise beyond the reasonable control of the Owner / Manager which renders the Property uninhabitable (for example flood, fire, storm, tempest, etc) then the Owner / Manager may have to cancel the Guest's booking for the Property. Should such circumstances arise then the Owner / Manager will endeavour to relocate the Guest to a holiday home of similar standard to this Property in the same area. Where this is not possible, the Owner / Manager will refund all monies paid by the Guest in respect of the Property. Upon refund of the monies paid, the Guest shall have no further claims whatsoever against the Owner / Manager of the Property. The
Owner/Manager reserves the right to enter, or allow entry during the
Guests stay, to their contractors to undertake any emergency repairs
that may arise.
